LAX FC Unveils Its Multi-Team Project
At LAX FC, development is more than just training—it's a complete football pathway designed to take players from their first competitive experiences all the way to the professional game.
With the launch of its Multi-Team Project, LAX FC is establishing one of the most structured player development systems in the region, ensuring that talented players no longer have to leave home to chase their dreams.
A Clear Pathway
The philosophy is simple:
One Club. One Pathway.
Every team within LAX FC serves a specific purpose in a player's journey, creating a seamless progression through each stage of development.
U20 – The Bridge
The U20 squad is where academy graduates begin their transition into competitive senior football. Here, players experience higher training standards, faster competition, and increased tactical demands while continuing to develop technically and physically. It is the first major step toward representing the club at a higher level.
U23 – Preparing for Adult Football
The U23 team serves as the crucial transition between youth football and the senior game. Players compete against stronger, more experienced opposition while continuing to mature physically, mentally, and tactically. This stage prepares players for the intensity and consistency required at the semi-professional and professional levels.
LAX FC II – The Reserve Team
LAX FC II represents the club's reserve side, competing at the semi-professional level.
This team allows emerging players to gain valuable first-team experience while remaining fully integrated within the club's playing philosophy.
It also provides first-team players returning from injury or needing match fitness with meaningful competitive minutes. Competition for places is constant, creating an environment where every player must earn promotion.
The First Team – Professional Football
The first team represents the highest level of competition within LAX FC.
This is where the club's best players compete while representing the vision and ambitions of the organization. For academy graduates, reaching the first team is not simply a dream—it is the objective of the pathway.
More Than Teams
The Multi-Team Project is not about creating additional squads.
It is about creating opportunity. Every player knows exactly what the next step looks like, what standards are expected, and what must be achieved to continue progressing.
Instead of isolated teams operating independently, every squad is connected through one coaching philosophy, one style of play, and one long-term vision.
Building the Future of Football
LAX FC believes that player development should be intentional.
By investing in every stage of the pathway—from the academy through U20, U23, LAX FC II, and ultimately the professional first team—the club is building a sustainable model that develops local talent while attracting players from around the world.
The Multi-Team Project reflects LAX FC's commitment to developing footballers, creating opportunities, and raising the standard of the game across the Emerald Coast.
One Club. One Pathway. One Future.
From Academy to First Team, every step matters.
